Dietitian Services
Registered dietitians are experts who use food and nutrition to help people stay healthy or manage diseases. They treat many conditions, like heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and kidney problems, just to name a few, which are often connected to what we eat. In fact, six of the top ten causes of death are linked to poor nutrition. Dietitians offer advice and create plans to help people manage their health and feel better. They also check for issues like food insecurity (not having enough healthy food) and malnutrition, helping people get the right support.
Services we provide:
- Nutrition education
- Help with food access
- Medical weight loss
A good diet is important to your health
At Central Health, dietitians help improve patients’ health by focusing on problems like heart disease, diabetes, and kidney disease. They work with patients to lower the risk of getting sicker, help them recover from other illnesses, and make sure their bodies get the nutrition they need to heal and stay strong.
