ACTION REQUIRED: Nominations for the Integral Care Board of Directors
Quote from Briana Yanes on August 26, 2019, 3:07 pmDear Managers:
Central Health is one of three entities that makes appointments to the Integral Care Board of Directors. We currently have a vacancy to fill as Tom Young is stepping down after many years of volunteer service. Per the direction of the Executive Committee, we have been asked to solicit you for nominations.
Integral Care is looking for this preferred experience:
- Healthcare finance experience
- Substance Use Disorder expertise
- Lived experience with Substance Use Disorder and/or Mental Health – family member or individual with direct experience
A member of the board can expect to spend 5 hours per month in meetings as well as dedicate additional time for meeting preparation.
Integral Care would like to ensure that their Board reflects the community. The Board currently consists of 3 women and 6 men with the race/ethnicity composition as 2 Hispanic, 2 African-American, and 5 Anglo per Integral Care. Sheriff Hernandez will join the Board as a non-voting member in the fall, which will increase the number of women.
More about the Integral Care Board of Directors is available here: https://integralcare.org/en/people/
Please send names, including contact information if available, and/or anybody interested in learning more to me as soon as possible. I will compile the nominations and present them to the Board Chair. Just a friendly reminder, please do not reply all to this email.
Have a great day and thank you for all that you do.
