Get Involved: Fiscal Year 2025 Budget
A fiscal year is the twelve-month period that an organization uses for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, which may be different from the calendar year. Many governmental entities, including Central Health, begin their fiscal years on Oct. 1 of the preceding calendar year – so Oct. 1, 2024 will be the start of Fiscal Year 2025.
That’s a little less than six months from now, and Central Health is already working on its FY 2025 budget. That means we can get an early start working with our patients, advocates, other stakeholders, and Travis County taxpayers to get feedback and reach alignment on our near-term plans for the hospital district.
Learn about the Central Health Healthcare Equity Plan.
Ongoing dialogue with our community is vital to the creation of Central Health’s annual budget, and ensuring our plans and programs support a shared vision for an inclusive, equitable, accessible healthcare safety-net healthcare system for Travis County.
