What: Central Health and the Project for Public Places (PPS), an internationally recognized nonprofit planning and design organization with experience in Travis County, are hosting a visioning workshop about the Central Health Brackenridge Campus to continue to help shape the future of the 14.3-acre downtown site. Central Health is creating a new healthy downtown neighborhood specifically designed to help improve the health and wellness of Travis County residents and generate revenue to continue to pay for health care services for generations to come. The workshop is part of Central Health’s ongoing community engagement around the redevelopment of the property.
What: PPS will provide a brief update on the public marketplace, a centerpiece of the campus, before attendees break out into small groups to tour different areas of the campus and participate in an interactive place-making game.
