Last Thursday night, Central Health held a public meeting to inform the community about the progress of the Brackenridge campus redevelopment. The project’s master plan calls for easily accessible health care, green space, a public market, transportation, and parking.

University Federal Credit Union will donate $1 million to the Dell Medical School to fund scholarships for medical students and help extend the reach of health care initiatives throughout Travis County. UFCU’s donation will go to the Department of Population Health, as well as three four-year scholarships for medical students starting school in the class of 2017-2018.
